If you would like to increase rice yields, may I recommend you to Nashi 778 instead. This Nashi 778 can help increasing yields from 30% up to 100% (it can be even more than that in some cases) while Nano 863 can do at 20%. Nano 863 is more likely to be used in livestock and fishery than in agriculture. It advantages more in those fields.
